OPJEMS Scholarship

             As the name suggests, it is a scholarship of INR 65,000 for B.TECH students! They award this scholarship only to a few engineering colleges all over India which include only the IITs, the NITs (not all NITs though), BITS Pilani and two other colleges. The eligibility criteria are :-

1. 2 toppers from each batch from the following streams for all 4 years
   • Civil Engineering
   • Electrical Engineering
   • Mechanical Engineering
   • Metallurgical Engineering
2. Top 12 students from each batch (any specialization or stream) for all 4 years.

                   The students who satisfy the above requirements can sit for their online test which is based on evaluating your personality by putting you in some situations and demanding for your decision or plan of action to take control of such situations. Moreover, there are two essay type open ended questions which you have to answer in less than 200 words. These open ended questions are going to be used for or against you (mostly against :P) during your interview (that is if you end up being among the top two scorers of this online test in your particular batch and you are allowed to sit for the interview).

                  Im sure my readers must be curious as to why, from out of nowhere, I am suddenly advertising about this scholarship scheme! Well, the reason is, I've got through the interview and have already won the sum of 65K and am very excited about it!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
