A dash ends up in a lot of cash!

            Lets not keep my readers wondering about what the title to this post means. Its about the scholarship I've been soooo excited about! Yeah...u've got it...its the OPJEMS'2011 scholarship. I still cant believe that I got it! Anyways, after writing this out, I guess i'll be convinced.

                      Well it all started one fine sunday morning or dawn actually! I was fighting with my lazy ass to get up and get ready to catch the SBSTC bus from Kolkata to Durgapur which was scheduled to leave from Karunamoyee at 6:15 sharp. My tickets were ready....and still....there I was...lying on my bed....considering the pro's and con's about catching the bus!

PRO's :-

1) There was this scholarship test, which, if I attend, I could at least get a free pen..(OPJEMS guys gift a nice little pen to everyone who's selected and have appreared in the test).

2) If I was lucky, I could get a seat beside a smart good looking girl in the SBSCT bus! (which I actually did and...the journey was no less than a treat). :)

3) The third pro that came to my mind was the least probable one...and yet...it was the the biggest pro that i could imagine! It was that.....if I take the test.....there is one in a million chance that I could at least appear for the interview....which I was looking forward to....coz u know...giving interviews does boost your confidence if they go well!

The readers may note that winning the sum of 65k wasnt even in my PRO's list! :P

CON's

1) My leg was hurting and my back ached coz the night before, I was hanging out with my friends and had a real gala time!
2)  Chances of my selection was very very slim!! :(
3)  I was feeling sleepy.
4) I was feeling really sleepy! :P

Although the CON's list overweighed the PRO's list by a somewhat "small" margin :P....yet I had to give in to the PRO's......coz u know.....they contained everything that a man ever wants....Money and Honey! :P

So....the next thing i know, I woke up.....got my ass over that bus.....made a nice little journey with a smart and cute gal...and reached my college.

After reaching, I came to know that the test could not start coz the internet in our "National Institute of Technology" wasnt "working"....and hence...the "online" test for OPJEMS'2011 could not be conducted! However, after a few hours of waiting, the invigilators came up with a solution! They somehow procured the hard copies of the questions and the test was conducted in "pen and paper".

After the test, me and my friend Rajdip, as always, would discuss about the various possibilities pertaining to different situations that we were put through during the test. I found that our answering pattern was very similar! So, I thot, may be, if he gets selected, there are fair chances that even I would!
