9 reasons why Ra.One is a Must-Not-Watch !!

Before I start drawing a lot of attention, I'd like to apologize to every "Die-hard" SRK fan...and I specifically mean only the die-hard fans because this post of mine is going to offend only them and probably SRK himself although I mean no offense to the great man except on this occasion. :P

To start with, I'd like to point out a few positive aspects about the movie. Firstly, it has shown us a few dazzling special effects! Secondly, CHHAMMAK CHHALLO!! Thirdly, it has a silly, but happy ending (although, when i think about it now, I was happy at the end probably coz the movie at least ended :P ). Apart from these three, I'm sure I wont be able to pin-point any more "positive" points about this terrible movie. :P

Now, in order to justify the title of this post, Im gonna lay down a few points explaining why its a terrible idea to watch Ra.One.

1) They say "Well begun is half done". Probably, the director didnt have a clue about this proverb coz the movie started with a total bullshit of an action sequence which, although was actually a child's dream that we came to know later, was still hard to make any sense of.

2) There is no proper scientific explanation to any of the events occuring in this movie which, by the way, is of utmost importance in any sci-fi movie. For example, G.One isnt supposed to have an Artificial Intelligence coz it was meant to be played by human players. I guess, the writer did'nt have a clue to that when he wrote the rest of the story. In fact, at the very beginning, it was clearly stated that human players can play "as" G.One and not G.One himself would play while the human players would watch, which in fact would make a terrible game too! :P However, inspite of that, we find G.One exchanging amazingly sensible quotes and speeches with Kareena and is intelligent enough to fight the supposedly INVINCIBLE Ra.One with a lot of skills and agility.

3) Shahrukh wasnt up to the mark as far as his acting was concerned! For the first time, I found his acting awefull and I dont blame him coz HE SIMPLY DOESNT FIT INTO THE ROLE!

4) The songs made no sense and were totally unnecessary! Even if I consider that Shekhar did program some artificial intelligence into G.One, how am I suppposed to believe that G.One could be intelligent enough (or actually idiotic enough) to sing "Chhammak Chhallo" and also dance to its tunes???? :P

5) Shekhar's child, Prateek seemed to be 12 and yet, he had more hacking and coding skills than Ankit Fadia himself! How am I supposed to believe that????? I know that some fans may argue that his father, Shekhar was an expert programmer and so, there's no reason why his son couldnt have had those skills. However, I do have an answer to that. Prateek barely talked to his father and he was almost ashamed of his father as indicated at the beginning of the movie. So, unless programming skills are passed on through the genes, I dont see how Prateek could be such a brilliant programmer!

6) Kareena's character was as "bimbo"-ish as always. I cant believe that she almost fell in love with G.One! I wont be surprised if we find her pregnant with G.One's offspring in the sequel! :P

7) I made a list of the movies from which Ra.One has copied its action sequences. Here they are :-

Hollywood:- Terminator 2, Transformers, The Judgement Day, Tron, Gamer, Batman Begins (only the poster).
Bollywood:- Kkrish, Burning train (the scene where the train stops right before the idle of Ganesh).

My readers can point out if I have missed any more names coz Im pretty convinced that this cant be it and there's gotta be more. :P So, in case, you have already watched the movies stated above, I dont find any reason why you should screw the memories of those good movies by watching this one.

8) Ra.One was too easy to defeat. As pointed out at the beginning, Ra-one is the ultimate bad-ass villain and it is so powerful that it cant ever be defeated. And yet, we find, G.One defeating it repeatedly throughout the movie and that too...very easily! Now that I am at it, let me ask the writer... Did Shekhar actually "programme" his testicles and that it should hurt when someone grabs it??? Or was his artificial intelligence intelligent enough (or idiotic enough) to figure that out? :P

9) G.One is supposed to be a superhero and not some punk who doesnt know what to do when his crotch is on fire! In one occasion, we find G.One doing heroic things like stopping the unstoppable train and yet on other occasions, he struggles extinguishing the fire burning away his balls.

Summing up, I feel like I have been cheated of my 80 rupees and 3 precious hours of my college life! In case, you dont wanna end up having the same feeling, PLEASE DO NOT WATCH RA.ONE !! :P

How about the movie "GAMER" form which the idea of gaming in the movie is concerned. Though i have't watched the movie but the kind of description of gaming is pretty similar to that one ......
